Private prenatal classes empower mothers-to-be throughout their pregnancy, giving them greater physical ease, improved circulation, digestion, and a resource for calm and restoration.
Through the use of props and a wide spectrum of poses adapted for the ever-changing pregnant body, Prenatal Yoga will improve strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth.
The postures will stretch the spine and strengthen the pelvic floor.
A regular yoga practice can alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, swelling, sciatica, back and hip pain.
Women in all stages of pregnancy are welcome to attend a 60 min prenatal class.
As an Ayurvedic practitioner, I can provide soothing prenatal massage, easing muscles that are tired from extra weight baring and improving circulation for a more easeful pregnancy experience.
